Changes from 4.1 to 5.0

Content Management
The new version incorporates advance content management functionality to allow users to import and export messages, re-order messages and combine content.

New Look and Feel
The look and feel of the Voice Tools have changed to allow for easier use and additional features.

  • Elapsed time and remaining time appears for messages
  • Audio meter displayed during playback and recording
  • Detachable and resizable Voice Board interface
  • Audio import and Save Audio feature in all Voice Applets
  • Auto-play feature to start message playback selection
  • Continuous play feature to read one message after the other

Revamped Voice Tools Manager
Improved navigation and redesign of the manager now means better efficiency in creating and managing content.

New Setup Wizard
A new Setup Wizard replaces the diagnostic tool to allow users be more self-sufficent in preparing and troubleshooting their computers to use the Voice Tools.


Changes from 4.0 to 4.1

New and Improved Audio Layer
The new audio layer introduces improved filters and gain controls to achieve better audio quality.

Privatization of Voice Board Threads
Voice Board threads now have the ability to be made Public or Private to users. This is controlled by the owner of the Voice Board.

Unicode Support
Voice Tools Server version 4.1 includes full Unicode support to allow for non-western characters with text messages.
